(More customer reviews)The v-grip handle of these bats provides a comfortable feel when swinging, and will help teach you to lead with your knuckles during the swing (you may also have heard this referred to as "squaring you hands"). It has a very good balance and distribution of weight (I am most comfortable using the 33" and choking up about 1 to 1 1/2 inches from the base). The paint does wear off rather quickly due to the fact that you'll only be hitting balls off of one side (due to the v-grip), but that is obviously a minor inconvenience. The barrel starts to narrow and slope to the handle a little higher up than most wooden bats, thus making the "sweet spot" a bit smaller. This is not a completely negative feature, however, as it makes the bat a little lighter and when you do hit the ball with the fattest part, it seems to jump a little more off the wood than with a full size barrel. Overall a very good, durable bat (I've used mine at least 3 times a week for over 3 months now), that probably should be priced $10 to $20 more than what it is for its value. I will definitely buy another if/when mine finally breaks.
