(More customer reviews)For those of you Va. Tech fans, don't get this toy. For those of you who aren't, why in the heck are you even considering getting this toy?
Our 3 year old daughter has had two of these toys.
The first one, received at Christmas from an aunt who shall live in infamy of this present, played some very strange hip-hop-like song on endless loop. The song was so garbled and had nothing to do with Virginia Tech that we assumed the toy was programmed incorrectly when it was manufactured. We thought some hip-hop dino out there was mysteriously playing the Virginia Tech fight song, much the chagrin of its new owners. So, somehow this toy was mysteriously "lost" at the bottom of our garbage can and our daughter quickly forgot about it...
... until she remembered and got very emotional about it a few weeks ago. So, again, believing that there was a programming error, my wife and I figured that the $15 or so price was slightly better than listening to the crying about missing her toy (and feeling a little guilty that we were the ones who tossed it), we bought dino #2. When our daughter saw it, her eyes lit up and we had one of those "awwwww" moments every parent cherishes... and then the infernal garbled hip-hop began all over again. It is not a feared and loathed toy in our house and will be headed very soon to join its brother in the great landfill in the sky.
Don't get this toy. Period.
